Our relationship with tallow is rooted in tradition, but our ingredients come from right here in North Dakota.
We proudly partner with a small family ranch to source premium bison kidney suet from grassland-raised bison. Raised on the native prairie, these animals are part of the landscape that has shaped North Dakota for generations.
Once the suet arrives at our studio, every batch is carefully hand-cleaned and dry-rendered in-house. This traditional rendering process allows us to create a pure, consistent tallow while honoring the craftsmanship behind this time-tested ingredient.
We believe the quality of skincare begins long before it reaches the jar. It begins with knowing where an ingredient comes from, building relationships with the people who provide it, and respecting the natural resources that make it possible.
