Unlike water-based lotions, Certified Natural Grass-Fed Bison Tallow is not a traditional moisturizer. It is considered an emollient occlusive, helping soften the skin while forming a breathable barrier that reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL). By helping seal in your skin's existing moisture and supporting its natural protective barrier, it leaves skin feeling soft, supple, and comfortably nourished.
Paired with Organic Golden Jojoba Oil, this formula delivers a light, silky feel that closely resembles the skin's natural sebum. Jojoba oil is valued for helping maintain balanced-looking skin without a heavy finish, making Golden Prairie an excellent choice for delicate, combination, or oily skin types, while remaining gentle enough for everyday use by the entire family.
