Unlike water-based lotions, Certified Natural Grass-Fed Bison Tallow is not a traditional moisturizer. It is considered an emollient occlusive, helping soften the skin while forming a breathable barrier that reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL). By helping seal in your skin's existing moisture and supporting its natural protective barrier, it leaves skin feeling soft, supple, and comfortably nourished.
Prairie Silk glides effortlessly onto the skin without synthetic fragrances or unnecessary additives. For best results, apply to slightly damp skin after bathing or cleansing to help lock in hydration.
